Appointment Fees

We believe in being transparent. The following are our consultation fees before rebates.

• Initial Appointment: $185 (50 mins face-to-face)

• Standard Appointment: $115 (30 mins face-to-face)

For NDIS:

• Initial Appointment: $208.82 (60 mins face-to-face)

• Standard Appointment $119.32 (30 mins face-to-face)

Payment

For Face-to-Face Appointments, payment will be processed at the time of your appointment. Online Appointments will require a deposit of $50 to secure a booking.

MyWellness Dietetics is a private billing practice, which means there is a gap payment after any Medicare or Private Health rebate. Please note you cannot claim private health rebate for sessions you have claimed a Medicare rebate for.

Rebates

If you are on an Eating Disorder Treatment and Management Plan (EDP) or Chronic Condition Management Plan (CCMP) from your doctor, you will receive a Medicare rebate. The rebate is currently $63.80 per dietetic session. You’ll receive a higher rebate if you’ve reached your safety-net threshold.

Private Health rebate amount will be dependent on your Insurance policy and cover.

Cancellation Policy and Fees

We value your time and have reserved this appointment specifically for you. Please note we have a strict cancellation policy. To ensure we can continue providing quality care, please provide advance notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. This also allows an opportunity for other clients in need to have your appointment slot. Cancellations without adequate notice will incur a fee as below:

• More than 24 hours’ notice: No fee will be charged.

• Under 24 hours’ notice: A fee of 50% of the session cost will apply.

• No-show: The full session fee will be charged.

*Note: medicare and private health rebates do not apply to cancellation fees.
